Beverley Baraniak, PHR, SHRM-CP and the Human Resources Risk Management/Loss Prevention Manager for Reliance Staffing & Recruiting has successfully completed the OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Standards Outreach Program.
The ten-hour program is administered by Gallagher Bassett Risk Control and sponsored by TSIL, which is Reliance’s Workers Compensation carrier, and demonstrates Reliance’s commitment to and focus on employee safety.
“We are very proud of Beverly’s accomplishments and strongly believe her new training will further enhance our safety partnership with clients and enhance worker safety,” said Tom Sarach, Reliance’s President.
The American Staffing Association (ASA) and OSHA formed an alliance to enhance the safety of temporary workers in 2014.
“Worker wellness and safety have long been a top priority of the American Staffing Association and its member companies,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer in the association’s news release on the alliance. “We are proud to participate in this voluntary cooperative relationship with OSHA to raise awareness of OSHA’s initiatives, increase training and education, and enhance outreach and communication, especially among staffing clients.”
In 2017 ASA introduced the Safety Standard of Excellence, a program designed in partnership with the National Safety Council. Reliance is actively pursuing this certification and is participating in additional safety training for the Reliance team this year.
Reliance has been a proud member of ASA for over 30 years and fully supports the ASA/OSHA temporary workers safety initiative.Share this Post
