Mark Ambrocio is just starting his career and he chose to start it with Reliance Staffing & Recruiting.
Ambrocio began using Reliance two years ago at the recommendation of his father, who was also working with Reliance. Since joining our team, he was placed and worked diligently at USUI International Corporation where he has now been permanently hired.
In addition to his father’s recommendation, he said that he liked that Reliance had plenty of jobs and a variety to choose from. And in his case, he chose industrial work.
“I really enjoy forming the lines at USUI,” he said. He also said he wanted to come to work at an industrial plant because of the experience it would give him.
“It’s my first time working for a company like this and it’s helping me learn teamwork. It’s also good for self-discipline: You have to wake up early!”
And wake up early he does. And often.
Ambrocio’s supervisor, Renz Moster, is impressed.“He’s done a very good job for me and USUI. He’s very good at what he does. And he comes in here every day on time – I’ve never had any issues about his attendance or work performance.”
Moster said that Ambrocio represents the type of employee he’s looking for: “I just want an employee who is diligent in what they do. Takes pride in their work. And reports to work every day.”
He also said that Reliance does a good job at delivering those types of employees – and taking a proactive role at working with USUI to meet their needs.
“When we get staff from Reliance, they last,” he said. “They report to work every day or, if they don’t, Sam Nanney [Reliance’s Chesapeake Branch Manager and USUI liaison] is sure to notify us.”
Both Ambrocio and Moster, who also got his start at USUI via Reliance, recommend using the staffing firm.
“Reliance is a really good company. I definitely recommend it,” said Ambrocio.
In addition to recommending Reliance for job-seekers, Ambrocio also has some simple advice: “First and foremost, wake up early. But also follow the rules, be on time, get to work, and do your job.”
As for what it means to him to have a job, it means self-sufficiency. This bachelor is proud that he can take care of himself, pay his own bills, and save for his future.
“You need to have that money! It helps me pay my bills and I hope to be able to buy my own car someday!”
What’s the car? He’s hoping for a Mustang.
USUI manufactures a variety of products that support engine operations, particularly in engine fuel and cooling systems. Find out more about USUI International Corporation.
