Chris Williams – Senior Vice President
Chris comes to PeopleShare with over 18 years of experience in the staffing industry. Prior to his current role, Chris worked for Bradley-Morris, the nation’s largest firm specializing in placing veterans into corporate careers. There, he quickly advanced through a succession of roles of increasing scope and responsibilities including Recruiter, Branch and Regional Operations Manager, Director of Staffing, General Manager, and Senior Vice President of Operations.
Chris entered the staffing industry after a successful career as an Army Aviation Officer. During his time in the U.S. Army, he distinguished himself as a graduate of the Initial Entry Rotary Wing (Aviation) school, Airborne school, and Air Assault school.
Chris earned undergraduate degrees in American Legal Studies and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was also a multiple varsity letter-winner and a member of the Dean’s list. He is a member of the West Point Society of Hampton Roads and the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management. Chris currently resides in Chesapeake, VA with his wife Julia and their two sons, Anderson and Emory.
Beverley Baraniak – Loss Prevention and Risk Management
Beverley Baraniak serves as our Risk and Loss Prevention Manager.
She joined Reliance as a placement specialist in 2010 and transitioned into her current role in 2016. She has more than 15 years of HR experience, including staffing, training and development, employment compensation, workers compensation, and administering health insurance benefits.
She holds a Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR) and is a Society of Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Shawn Owen – Branch Manager
Shawn Owen is a people person who is constantly networking.
Before joining Reliance, Shawn spent 30 years in the Interior Design business where she built a reputation for excellent customer service.
Shawn specializes in working with clients seeking administrative, clerical, technical, and professional support. Contact Shawn to Request Reliance Talent.
Shawn is into fitness and competing in Tough Mudders and Rugged Maniac obstacle courses.
Steve Wyatt – Branch Manager
Steve has been a Hampton Roads resident since 1991 and is deeply invested in the growth and success of the Peninsula. A graduate of Christopher Newport University, Steve leads a dynamic team of individuals who specialize in finding companies quality candidates for light industrial, clerical, warehouse, customer service, and financial positions.
He is active in the community, many charities, and has also been coaching Warwick Little League baseball for the last 5 years. Steve is also a proud member of the Poquoson Masonic Lodge.
Robert Lankford – Branch Manager
Rob joined the Virginia Beach Reliance team in November 2019. He comes to Reliance with 10+ years of experience in the staffing and sales industry.
Rob is a 2010 graduate of Virginia Tech. A native of Southside Virginia Rob moved to Virginia Beach after college in 2011 to work in sales at DuPont.
His previous position was “Director of Sales” at Bradley-Morris where he helped transitioning military find civilian employment. During this time there, Rob was directly responsible for placing over 500 veterans into full time positions upon completion of their military service.
Rob has been described by his clients as a responsive, determined and highly skilled business person. Rob is known for his energetic and determined attitude to complete the job in hand.
Rob sets the standard for both performance and professionalism in his work and is looking forward to taking our candidate and client experience to a new level!
Justin Saunders – Branch Manager
Justin joined the Suffolk Reliance team in July 2020.
Justin is a former graduate of The State University of New York at Buffalo where he studied Communication and Business Administration.
He comes to Reliance Staffing, a PeopleShare company, with over 12 years of experience in Business to Business development along the east coast. Within that time, his development efforts have resulted in the hiring of more than 20 full-time new team members.
He has great strength in establishing needs and delivering results beyond expectations. Justin continues to bring a strong sense of teamwork and accountability to the Suffolk office.
Scott Janoso – Branch Manager
Scott consistently excelled during a 28+ year career in the copier and office technology business where he built a reputation for excellent customer service and top-notch sales leadership.
He specializes in working with clients seeking administrative, clerical, technical, and professional support.
Scott is a focused and dedicated sales professional who is constantly looking to meet and help new people.
