Monica Hill, who has been serving as the assistant director of employer relations with Christopher Newport University (CNU), was just hired permanently as the operations manager for the new CNU Alumni House currently under construction!
Hill, a CNU alum herself, in addition to managing operations, marketing, and events for the new venue, will also create and implement new alumni program initiatives.
“Monica has been integral in advancing Christopher Newport’s career planning vision. She is incredibly dedicated to serving students, employers, faculty/staff, alumni, parents, and the career services profession. And, she has helped us develop a reputation of excellence as a career center,” wrote Libby Westley, Director for the Center for Career Planning (CCP) at CNU and Monica’s most recent supervisor.
Hill worked for six years at the CCP.
“Monica is highly thought of and we’re sure she is excited to be managing the new Alumni House being built at CNU,” said Lynn Connor, owner of Reliance. “We’ve enjoyed working with her through the Career Center, and she has done a great job. We wish her great success in this new role at CNU!”Share this Post
