Recruiter/Health Care – Emp # 132131
She is interested in the contract role and would be open to considering it as a permanent role at the end of the temporary period. I discussed that her title has been a “generalist” for several years and this will absolutely be a high volume “recruiter” positon. She said she was involved in full cycle recruiting the full 9 years she was with VCU Health. She is comfortable conducting Boolean searches, working within Lawson, and $20/hour was an acceptable rate on the contract term.

He was working as a substitute carrier for USPS where he met performance goals and worked 100+ hour a week during the busy season. He has been doing Valet work in his spare time for St. Mary’s where he was given a leadership role and put in charge of claims, so he became well versed in deescalating situations. His additional experience has been in retail environments in front facing positions. During his time at VCU, he completed computer courses and recently completed a Manufacturing Technician training by the Community Collee Workforce Alliance.

He has been working in administrative support roles for the last four years. He has previously worked as an executive administrative assistant to the Vice President of a financial company. In that role he regularly planned meetings, organized the company day of volunteer service, and organized special events in addition to the routine clerical work he performed. The special events organization also included some marketing efforts. Most recently, he finished up a temporary assignment with us as an administrative assistant in the Dean of the VCU College of Engineering’s office. He said his biggest strength is his work ethic and adaptability. He is excited at the prospect of a long term fit in a company within which he can grow.
Marketing/Sales – Emp # 131720
She came across as very eager to get her foot in the door and seemed versatile in the support roles she has offered in past positions. She has been a marketing coordinator for three years and has plenty of phone practice and sales experience.
